Siemens Logical Plug-in Supported Models Comparison Chart
The Siemens GSM logical plug-in uses the standard AT command interface for acquiring the phonebook, SMS history, and call history from the phone. It uses the OBEX protocol for acquiring the full file system from the newest models. The Siemens file system includes all user information from the phone such as the phonebook, SMS history, multimedia and java files, user settings, and other data.
The Siemens GSM logical plug-in acquires the following data:
- Phonebook
- SMS
- Call Logs
- File System
- Calendar
- Phonebook OBEX
Usually, the amount of acquired data depends on the model and state of the phone. The types of data listed above should be present but sometimes, some of it can be empty. Some old models of phones do not support the standard version of the OBEX protocol. Data read by the OBEX protocol in these phones cannot be acquired.
