Samsung Physical Plug-in

The Samsung GSM physical plug-in uses the Samsung Test Command interface for file system acquisition of Agere generation phones, the service protocols for VLSI and Conexant generation phones, and the TAT protocol for Sysol generation phones.

• Device Seizure is able to acquire RAM and EEPROM (contains calendar, phonebook, & user settings) from all Sysol models.
• For Ager models, the plug-in allows you to acquire a dump of the EEPROM area (contains WAP bookmarks, system setting) and read the last entered PIN code. The plug-in also parses the flash file system. The flash file system includes system files (trace logs, crash logs, etc), storage files (SMS, e-mail, phonebook, organizer), multimedia (voice records, camera images), java (downloaded from WAP) user data files, & deleted files.
• This plug-in allows you to acquire a dump of the flash memory from VLSI models, acquiring EEPROM and flash file system from Conexant models.

Samsung GSM phone models are divided into five generations; Sysol, Agere, Conexant, VLSI, & "Old". Depending on the model's generation, the acquisition process will be performed in a different way.
