Cell Phone Text Messages & Other Cell Phone Data
If your phone stores your text messages on your cell phone, then there is hope; the data can sometimes be recovered.

You have a couple different options when it comes to deleted data stored on the phone itself. The first is Paraben's Device Seizure. This software is a forensic analysis tool used to acquire and analyze data from cell phones. In order to recover deleted data, the software must support your phone model with a physical acquisition. CLICK HERE to see if your phone or PDA is supported. Please note, if your device is only supported by a logical plug-in, no deleted data can be recovered. Also remember that even supported phones may not contain deleted data because deleted data is quickly overwritten by new data.

The second option is Paraben's CSI Stick. This small device actually downloads data right from the cell phone. It can even recover deleted data from some models. CLICK HERE for more information.

* Please Note: Paraben's SIM Card Seizure and Paraben's Device Seizure are able to recover deleted SMS data associated with transmission of text data on a GSM network. However, some cell/mobile phones store SMS on the actual device rather than the SIM card. If that is the case, the recovery of this data may or may not be possible using Device Seizure, depending on the specific device model. As with any deleted data, recovery depends on whether or not the information has been overwritten with new information. Because of these factors, Paraben holds no responsibility for the recovery of deleted data. Use of either of the two programs listed above for the recovery of deleted data is at the user's choice and risk.
